OPEN ENROLLMENT REMINDER!

Open Enrollment begins on December 1, 2023 and will end on December 12, 2023. Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your benefit coverage. During open enrollment you can add, change or waive coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents. After open enrollment ends you can only make changes to your coverage if you experience a qualified life event. Please also keep in mind the following when making your elections for 2024:

Your medical coverage is offered through CareFirst, BCBS. You have the choice between three plans for the 2024 plan year. The three plan options include a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account component, and two traditional POS plans. View the Providers & Networks for more information on how these plans networks differ from each other as well as buttons to locate participating providers.


If you are already enrolled in one of the CareFirst, BCBS medical plans today and have not already done so, please be sure to register for MyAccount where you can access important information pertaining to your medical coverage including participating providers, cost estimates for services, explanation of benefits/claims, and your accumulation amounts for deductibles and out-of-pocket costs. If you are not currently covered, you will be able to register for MyAccount on your effective date of coverage. Information on how to register can be found here.

RDTS dental plan provides comprehensive coverage to help you and your family maintain good dental health. The dental plans include both in and out of network benefits. Although your cost sharing is the same in and out of network, if you do go out of network you may be asked to pay in full up front and file a claim to receive the plan's out-of-network reimbursement. Out-of-network benefits are also subject to balance billing.
